We have patients that come in for tunneling wounds. Providers culture and comes back MRSA positive. Some providers think Level III w/ a cellulitis and MRSA; Some say no should be wound care w/ MRSA. These patients return frequently for packing until healed as is tunneling. How should this be coded. Patient calls for an appointment says they have an open sore on their leg....
