The pain management doctor I bill for has been asked to provide general anesthesia with a chiropractor for manipulations under anesthesia. While my doctor is licensed to perform anesthesia, I am not clear on how to bill the anesthesia if the chiro is manipulating multiple areas..ie..spine, shoulder and knee all in one session. The chiro will be working with another doctor so there will be co-surgeons. Does anyone currently bill these?
