is there an immunohistochemical mucicarmine stain?? or is it only 88313???

This is not an immunohistochemical stain, to the best of my knowledge. No one has ever asked me otherwise.

What brings this up?

well just the way our physcians are documenting them in with the immunos, but I think they may just think we know .

I've seen that too. I think the information being communicated is clear to the physicians, if not always to us. Mucicarmine is used to detect mucin while the impox stains detect antigens.
