Hi - I am trying to follow the reimbursement for a multi-organ transplant; liver, pancreas and intestine. The codes billed are 44135,44715, 47135, 47143, 48554 and 48551 - all professional charges. Are modifiers required? Our encoder isn't showing any modifier edits. Also, is there a multiple surgery reimbursement applied on the professional claim?
