Has anyone had patients who have the Multiplans, Inc/PHCS insurance? I need to bill to insurance and was just informed the claims need to go to the life insurance company shown on the ID card and it will be priced thru PHCS (Private Healthcare Systems Inc). So my question is: Do I bill the insurance as the name of the Life Insurance Company name? They gave me the payor ID# for EMCs and also the address where I can send paper claims. This is rather confusing . We are in the Phoenix area so any billers/coders who are aware of this, please chime in.
