We cannot get this surgery paid. The dr clearly dictated that he removed 3 dupuytren nodules from the palm through 3 separate incisions. He also says that the pt was having no problems with her fingers, so nothing was done to them. I charged 26121 3x with 59 mods. I feel like the insurance wants us to use the add-on code for additional digits (26125), but there was no release of any fingers.
I was thinking about trying 51 mods instead??
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to get it paid are appreciated.
