I am sooooo having a "Friday" moment :p

I have a surgery where they have removed ( 8 ) nevi from the location of the (4)clavicle, ( 1) shoulder, (2) sternum, (1) thorax areas ranging in sizes from 0.5 - 1 cm. It is all coding to the trunk area. Do I code each excision seperately?????? :confused:

it depends on how they were removed. not every lesion removal is an excision, so it is very much dependent on documentation. Once it is determined how they were removed then the answer to your question can be obtained.
