I need help in coding this scenario on a 23 year old routine physical exam.

Patient received these immunizations:
90633
90715
90733
90649

Can I use the V70.0 to link all immunizations or do I need a V code for each immunization.
Also on the administration, do I use 90471, and 90472 x 3

Fairly new to coding immunizatons, so would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks,
Carl

We have all the corresponding V codes for each vaccination listed our charge slip. Depending on the payer you may get payment on the v700 listed on each vaccine. But I would think you'd like to bill it correctly the first time and list out each V code for each vaccine. And the correct billing of administrations is 90471 and 90472x3 you are correct there. I hope your billing this to commercial as if it were a Medicare or Medicaid patient billing along with modifers would be different. Good luck.

I agree, all imms have their own dx code. I would list each CPT out seperately with the corresponding dx. I also have noticed that some payers bundle in these admin (90471) codes with any office visit billed out on that day so you might want to add a modifier to them if also billing an e/m.
