Hello - We have a PM&R specialist who bills several procedure together at once. She performed 20553, 64400 (bilateral) and 64405 (bilateral) at the same session. I am newer to pain coding and am having trouble getting this claim paid. I submitted 20553 (no modifier) 64400 50,59 and 64405 50,59 but the claim denied for: 236-PROCEDURE AND/OR MODIFIER COMBO IS NOT COMPATIBLE. Any insight would be appreciated - thanks.
