A D&C hyst was performed 58558 and an IUD removal 58301 along with an excision of a cervical mass. Not sure what the code should be for the cervical mass? Also can all 3 of these be billed out or would the excision of the cervical mas be included with the D&C since she was in there already. Or would it be better to bill the D&C with a 22 modifier and the IUD removal?
 
You can code 57500-Biopsy of cervix, single or multiple, or local excision of lesion, with or without fulguration (separate procedure) w/ a modifier 59.
