Good afternoon,

I have a general question about billing multiple RIB fractures. I have CPT 21805 x6. I also need to bill "open treatment of rib fractures requiring internal fixation, 3 ribs."

I can only find the code 0246T. Can I bill the category three code with a 59 modifier as I am not too familiar with the category III rules.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
