My doctor is looking at the M06.80 category for "other specified RA", and states that the typical arthritis patients he sees has RA affecting multiple joints, and I'm suggesting that the last code in this section M06.89 would be the most applicable and specific in his case, and that he wouldn't have to code based on each and every code in this category, that the M06.89 would capture them all, correct?

I hope this is as simple as it sounds and that a yes or no might be the answer!
