So I am not familiar with muscle flaps and how they work, so in researching can we use the flap for the patient or do it always have to be transferred to another person? Looks like patient had a non healing wound and a flap was made and an amniotic graft was put on.

Can someone shed some light on flaps? Can we say that the amniotic graft is a skin substitute?
