Hello everyone!
I passed my CPC certification from AAPC on Dec 2020. I'm an entry level person with CPC-A, with no work experience in medical coding and billing .
However I applied for jobs at LinkedIn and indeed and luckily got offered by an ambulatory services provider . So I would like to know how different is medical billing and coding at an ambulatory facility as compared to the one at hospitals or at physicians?. And since I'm in the process of being hired I would like to know what are the things that I should start focusing on in the mean time, so that by the time I get hired I at least have some basic understanding of how things work in an ambulatory services as a medical biller and coder. (Company works for outpatient and 60% of Medicaid and Medicare claims).
