When billing for bilateral myringotomies would it be appropriate to bill it as x 2 with modifier -50 or should there be a line for each (i.e. 69420 RT and 69420 LT)?

Thank you! That's what I've been doing but someone said that it should be done the other way and I disagreed. I will take your advice and check with the payer, see how they want it individually.
