Our Rad Onc coders are questioning if it is appropriate to report CPT 77331 for every treatment provided. For example, a patient receives 30 treatments and has a measurement each time - is it appropriate to report CPT 77331 on each visit? They were given instructions it is inappropriate. Documentation is measurement with occasional change of treatment, but not always. I am the new SME (subject matter expert) but my expertise is surgical and Rad Onc falls under my umbrella of responsibility. My manager and supervisor were aware when I was hired - so no issues there. 
Any help on this question would be greatly appreciated and/or pointing to some resources would be appreciated as well.
