What is the most appropriate ASA code for CPT 43752 (Naso gastric tube placement)? I bill for a Children's Hospital and a small child was brought to the OR and anesthetized to place the nasogastric tube. CPT is not in our dictionary so I need to add it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't cross to an ASA code. Per the 2019 Crosswalk, anesthesia is typically not required. You will need to use 01999 with documentation supporting medical necessity for anesthesia.
