The doctor noted that the patient comes to the office for nausea and vomiting. After the examination he documents, nausea and vomiting, probably due to gastroenteritis. how would i code this, just the nausea with vomiting 787.01 or would I code it with gastroenteritis 558.9 and if so what is the coding order. thanks for any help.
