If an NCCIi edit has been deleted, why can it not be deleted from the list? It seems that the NCCI Edits list is ridiculously long! Is there a reason for them keeping them?
 
If they deleted the edit from the list, then you would have to retain every old edition of the list to refer to any time you were working on a claim for past date of service prior to the publication of the last NCCI edit list. By keeping them on the list but including the start and end dates of the edit, you only need to have the current edit list.
