Need help coding please. Doc performed an open repair of right recurrent inguinal hernia with a defect near femoral vein.
He also did an inguinal lymph node biopsy.
I am thinking I can only bill 49520,rt. Would I bill the biopsy of the inguinal lymph node since the physician was already doing an open repair?
Would like another opinion.
