Posting this for another, the visit is happening first thing tomorrow morning...

An elderly patient of the practice has not seen for 7 years. the adult child of the patient wants to discuss care of the patient with the physician.

Dr. will need to spend a lot of time gathering the information and discussing with the patient?s child the information.

The (adult) Child will be coming to the office but without the 101 year old mother. How would the doctor be able to bill this?
 
That will work if there has been a recent psych evaluation and study performed. However to bill for most any service the provider will need to see and evaluate the patient first.
