Dr. tells me that he will be taking a little bit of bone(not tissue not cartilage) from the knee cap using the scope. I'm looking at unlisted, 29999, but need help with the comparison code. I'm thinking maybe 27350 Patellectomy or hemipatellectomy . Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, it's probably unlisted. Is that the only thing being done? If there is more work done at the same time it may be considered inclusive. Is it bony overgrowth or what is the reason?
