Hi everyone,

Below are the details of the procedure.

Procedures performed:
1.Abdominal Aortic Angiography
2. Bilateral Lower extremity Angiography

Technique: The right radial artery was accessed via Seldinger technique and a 6- French sheath was introduced. A pigtail was used for Abdominal aortic Angiography and 4 - French diagnostic catheter was used for bilateral femoral artery angiography. Tip was placed in the SFA level bilaterally.

I would like to know

1.If my codes below are correct?

75630 - 26 -
36247 - 50 - Coded this additionally as tip is placed in SFA level bilaterally.

2. My doubt is , Can I code catheterization 36247 separately here?
- when coding 75630 or is it inclusive ? (as the term, "Selective Catheterization" is not mentioned).

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks,
Vidhya

75630 is coded when the angiogram is done for Abdominal aortic Aneurysm, or that there was no catheter movement in imaging the arota and lower extremities bilaterally. So what you do bill is for the aortogram- 75625 and 75716 for the bilateral lower extremity arteriogram, along with the 36247-50.
