I POSTED A QUESTION TO THE "GEN SURGERY" FORUM BUT HAVENT HAD A RESPONSE. I HAVE A COMPLICATED CASE....PT HAD REMOVAL OF 10CM HERNIA SAC W/SEROMA...DR DID WIDE LOCAL EXCISION OF SKIN,SOFT TISSUE AND PERITONEUM. THEN CLOSED PERITONEUM....OPEN PROCEDURE....SEROMA WAS REMOVED.........NOT SURE..DO I CODE THIS AS REMOVAL OF TUMOR, CYST ......? ANY IDEAS..
