Doctor wrote down severe eversion and external rotation of right ankle. There is nothing more documented about it. That's what he wrote as a diagnosis and what he wrote on his exam sheet. Looking up eversion takes me me to valgus deformity, but I don't think that's the code I should be using. I don't know what I should be coding for this. Please help. Thanks!
 
Eversion of ankle

Need more details like the purpose of visit like trauma and age. The Q 66.6 is a congenital deformity code we can not assign just based on this documentation. For me sever eversion looks like trauma visit but can not assume. I would prefer to query the physician on more detailed documentation.
