op note says acute cholecystitis as dx
findings; disteneded acutely inflamed gallbladder w/ adhesions.

path report says: no significant histologic abnormality
I keep comming up with acute cholecystitis for the inflamed gallbladder but am hesitant to report this due the path report. Usually the pathologist will state it if is acute cystitis.
Any information would be helpful.
