Does anyone have any advice on how to code bone metabolism?

do you have more info? bone metabolism is just a natural process, not a dx or symptom....but does patient have a disorder? i guess I'd just use 733.90

Bone metabolism is not a disorder or disease. Do you have the diagnosis as bone metabolism only? It doesn't make a sense. Please query the physician for a disorder to code or atleast a symptom. You should not code 733.90 in the absence of a definitive disorder.
