What DX would you use for bilateral choroidal folds?? I was thinking 363.8 or 743.9???
Thanks for any help

Hi Patricia-
for BIlateral Choroidal Folds - use 363.8 and an additional cause code if applicable to identify eye condition.
There are a number of causes including orbital disease (such as retrobulbar tumours), choroidal tumours, ocular hypotony (following significant surgery) and a number of other miscellaneous causes (idiopathic, chronic papilloedema and posterior scleritis).
Presentation - many patients are asymptomatic but they may complain of metamorphopsia or impaired vision over time.
