Patient was admitted due to defibrillator misfiring. Our physician went to the hospital bringing the defibrillator machine and interrogated and as per patient request (patient is terminal), turned off the defibrillator.

Question:
1. Do we use 93289 (interrogation device evaluation (in person), single, dual or multiple lead system?
2. Since it is our physician who did the interrogation, no need for -26?


I believe this code includes the turning off also.

Can anyone confirm if my reasoning is correct?
