Hello, The physician billed out 93010 and Medicare denies the claim as the hospital has already billed out the same code 93010 for the patient. What am I missing here is there a modifier required? We are in Texas.

93010 does not have a TC/26 breakdown.

If your physician did the interp and report, the hospital should not have billed 93010 also.
Is there anyone at the hospital you can contact to discuss?
 
We have the same issue going on with our office. I agree with above reply, contact the hospital and speak with their billing manager.
