Hello Fellow Coders:

I would greatly appreciate opinions for the procedure listed below? I posted the partial op-report below. Thank you for all opinions and assistance with this matter!;)

We were able to address the peroneal tendons. We made a small incisioon into the sheath and identified the peroneal tendon. The only tendon that was present was the peroneus longus. It had a very large ossicle, which actually abutted against the flexor sheath. I was able to excise this since this was where the patient was having much of her pain. We repaired the peroneal tendon at this point.

Would you code this as 28120 since a ossicle was removed?:confused:
