Hi all;

I posted this last week and didn't get any response. I have a question regarding Medicare patients. Is there a regulation regarding the number of mental health visits a Medicare beneficary can have per year? Does it depend on if it is a parity dx or not?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am interested in this information also. What state are you in? Have you filed any claims to Medicare for mental health, and now you are receiving denials? Or are you beginning to files claims for mental health? What place of service are you using? What type office or facility are you filing the claims for? I have some contacts in the mental health feild that may be able to help, but I need a little more information.
