I have just taken on the coding for orthopedics and I am running into a brick wall on my first surgery. Here is what was done:
Removal of lumbar segmental instrumentaion; L4-S1 exploration of fusion;L3-S1 new segmental instrumentation;L3-L4 posterior posterolateral fusion; L4-L5 posterior posterolateral fusion; L5-S1 posterial posterolateral fusion; L3 laminectomy, partial facetecomy with neural foraminotomy, bilateral; L4 laminectomy, partial facetectomy with neural forminotomy, bilateral and redo; L5 laminectomy, partial facetectomy with neural foraminotomy, bilateral and redo; and S1 laminectomy, partial facetectomy with neural forminotomy, redo; fluroscopy, and local bone graft harvest.
