Patient had an anterior and posterior repair done. That sameday the patient was brought back in because of postop bleeding. The physician went back in and noted some bleeding in the area of dissection and thought it was just venous related. She removed the anterior stitches and restiched the area and then over-sewed a couple of places on the posterior dissection although it had no areas of bleeding. The patient was on lovenox and plavix therapy so it was assumed the bleeding was related. I'm needing help in coding the procedure for this. It seemed more of an exploration type procedure and I keep going back to a vaginotomy but with the stich removal and re-insertion, I'm just not sure. Thanks for whatever input you might have.
