Hi:

Could anyone help me to find out the cpt code for diagnostic naso or nasal endoscopy done under general anesthesia, 31231 is usually done without or with local anesthesia:confused:

For diagnostic there is no other code. Have you tried billing it - and you're saying that the billing from the Anesthesiologist doesn't get reimbursed - because it is considered an 'office procedure'? If you showed that it was medically necessary to use general anesthesia, the payer may cover it. I would contact the payer and ask about performing the procedure with general anesthesia. They may have coverage guidelines that allow it for particular diagnoses/circumstances.
