metastatic osteosarcoma of the lung

Is the osteosarcoma secondary or is the lung secondary? :eek:
 
My co-worker and I discussed this. The word metastatic can be used in 2 different ways. The way you worded the diagnosis we would take to mean it originated in the bone and spread to the lung.
