Need tips on how to make sequencing neoplasms easier.. Get very confused with knowing which code should be primary, secondary, and so forth.

I would suggest you read ICD9 Coding Guidelines page 8, 2. Chapter 2: Neoplasms (140-239). I'm sure you will find your answer there.

Are you referring to primary or secondary dx codes on the claim or primary or secondary neoplasm as a diagnosis.

This comes from the path report or provider diagnostic statement. Can you provide an example of one that confused you?
