I am an outpatient coder for a wound management company and we recently began performing Nerve Block Injections when needed to the upper and lower extremities before proceeding to debride a wound of the same location. I recently found that the E/M is inclusive to this procedure, however, does anybody know if it is within Medicare Guidelines to bill 64455 with a debridement?
