Greetings! I have a physiatrist doing nerve conduction studies. If she tests (for example) Femoral motor nerve to vastus medialis AND femoral motor nerve to rectus femoris, can she use quantity two, or just quantity one? Appendix J is not clear if different :confused:termination points on the same nerve can each be counted or not. thanks!
 
She would report 95900 x 2 if it was without an -F wave study and 95903 x 2 with an -F wave study. Applicable modifiers would be either 59 or 76 depending on the situation.

REMINDER: Nerve Conduction Study Codes are exempt from use of Modifier -51 to indicate multiple procedures.
