I work for a Neurology specialist who was requested by two physicians to perform an EMG (95860 SERIES) and a NCS(95900 SERIES) on the same patient on the same day. One test was for a Bilateral upper extremity (95861) and the other test was for a Unilateral Lower extremity (95860).

He also performed Nerve conduction tests on separate nerves for the two physicians, which he has also documented.

My question: how can I bill this out without getting denied duplicate billings?
Of course I know I can only charge one consultation fee, because he only saw the patient once, but the neurology testing was on different nerves and he wants to get payment for his tests performed and the time he provided.
Please advise on how I should go forward with this.
Thanks
Denise
