So.. when performing neuropsych testing, our office will bill out the 96116, 96118, and 96119... Now let's say the MD spends 1 hour and 30 minutes in interview w/ the patient. Would it be appropriate to bill the 96116 or 96116 x 2? I would like some opinions, and if anyone has a reference to a solid document that I may be able to have- that states you either should or should not bill for a quantity of 2 unless there are let's say 1 hour and 31 minutes spent, I would really appreciate your feedback.
