Can someone please help me. I need a code for an intraoperative monitoring with SSEPs, MEPs and EMG. Thanks for anyone's help on this.:)
 
Did your surgeon do the intraoperative monitoring or did another provider do it? If it is done during a surgery it is usually not billable by the surgeon. We have neuosurgeons and neuroligist in our group and when the neurologist does the monitoring then we bill the appropriate codes from the following.
95928-95929, 95920, 95860-95869 with modifier 26. Hope this helps.
