I have a physician that performed a corpectomy, and a fusion. However, (DURING THE SAME SURGERY) he took the patient down CT scanner, and it did not appear that the screws were medial. He brought the patient back to the OR and all the screws were removed....my question is can he bill for his work performed? Is there a modifer that should be used?

Please help...we are really confused on how to handle this one.
