Good Morning,
Is anyone out there billing for CRNA's in Nevada? We just started billing for a pain management practice. Nevada Medicare(Palmetto) has denied code 64493 stating that "Payment is denied when performed/biled by this type of provider." Has anyone else had this problem? I have been looking for some guidelines from the state of Nevada but haven't been able to find anything to help me.

I would check that you are using the correct taxonomy code and that medicare has your provider on file with that corresponding taxonomy code.
