When billing 99153 multiple times. Are you billing it twice 99153,99153-59 or billing with frequency? Does anyone know how Medicare would like to see this billed?
 
I called Medicare and they are saying 99153 has an PCTC indicator of 3 which indicates that this is only billable by the facility and not billable by a provider. I am confused by this.
