Hello, all.... Just wondering if there is any guidance or resources out there regarding these new codes? More specifically what you do when a lump/mass is found in the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock regions of the breast. I know the malignant neoplasms codes call that an overlapping site. However certain breast procedures have LCD requirements and the NOS N63.10 and N63.20 are not covered codes. Just wondering what everyone else is doing? Any input, advise would be greatly appreciated... Thanks....

There was a WPS call Back on Jan 10th where this issue was address. They stated to code the lump as being in both quadrants, not unspecified. I do not have the CMS documentation yet, but this is what was told on that call.
