As of 4/1/11 CCI's lastest update they are bundling the cath codes ex. 93458 into the stents ex. 92980. Has anyone read heard anything about this? I would think they are still ok to bill together but we would now need to add a 59 to the cath code. Any thoughts?

Yes, I ran across this yesterday myself. I've been putting the -59 on the cath code. These are full, complete diagnostic studies being done at the time of the intervention.
