Wiki new coder needs help with I&D in global

Patient has I&D of hand (10060) and three days later has to have second I&D. This second procedure would be considered to be a no charge because of the 10 day global period of the original procedure?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
If the same physican or different physican within the same scope of practice did the second I&D, by all means do report for the procedure using the correct modifier.

This allows payment for the I&D, reduced of course.. depending on insurance contracts.
