Hello,

Can anyone explain further in detail the principle use of the CPT code 99459? I understand what its purpose is, but not sure how it applies in a setting with a GYN exam for a prevent visit or even if it applies to a GYN prevent visit. Or, could it be only in case of a problem visit and a pelvic exam is performed at the same DOS visit. Thanks
