does anyone know anything more about the new flu shot Q codes that are coming up for the new year? All the info I have is from the last edge blast, but it doesn't say if it's just for medicare or what admin to use etc.
any info would be GREAT!
 
Check out CMS Transmittal 815, Change Request 7234 and MLN Matters, Number MM7234. Both should be availiable on the CMS website. As far as I can tell, this only applies to Medicare, but I would check with my other commercial payers just to make sure.

The new Q codes only impact CPT code 90658 for the flu product. The administration code stays the same (G0008).
